Course Description:
Interaction of maturational, self-reactive factors in human development in childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, middle age, and old age. Problems of social, personal, occupational, and familial adjustment during each of these phases of the life span. This will be a writing intensive course.
Special Requirements:
While DSL or a Cable connection is not required, students may find it difficult to download materials if they are using a dial-up connection.
Students should be able to be relatively comfortable with getting online, installing "plug-ins" like Adobe Reader, or Flash Player, etc.
Obviously -Internet access is required - Preferably 5-7 days a week.

Online Component:
Fifty percent of the course work will be completed by students online. For the first week ONLY, we will meet for both scheduled in-class sessions. Following that, the course will meet in the assigned classroom only one day a week. The remainder of the course work will be delivered online. Students are expected to view online course materials and complete online assignments each week.'
