Course Description:
The course looks at the Urban Criminal Justice System.
We look at the police, courts and prisons in America emphasizing
both current problems and how they have evolved over time.
Special Requirements:
To actually take the course you must 1) first enroll, then 2) contact me at muraskin@yahoo.com, then 3) get a Queens College account and password, and 4) a BLACKBOARD account and password. Without the above you can't gain access to the class website.
Online Component:
This course is taught totally on line and has no physical meetings. Students after they register MUST send e-mail to muraskin@yahoo.com with the phrase "INTERNET STUDENT" in the subject heading so I can add you to my own address book and have a means of communicating in addition to the blackboard class site. I will almost always respond without a few hours.
