Course Description: This a course designed for the student who is a native speaker of Spanish, but has not engaged in extensive formal study of the language. Emphasis will be on spelling rules, improving writing skills, and basic grammatical concepts. |

Online Component: The online compoment consists of coverage of a third of the course material. For instance, he students learn the rules of spelling in Spanish, using Blackboard by a variation of exercises and assignments related to this topic. |
