Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and terms of computer science, including algorithms, problem solving techniques and data types. Student will use a high-level computer programming language to solve a variety of problems. Actually student will learn the Java language.
Special Requirements:
Student should have a PC (desktop or laptop) with Internet connection. Additional instructions for installing Java Developing Kit and Intergraded Development Environment will be given.
Online Component:
The entire course is online. Students will use Blackboard to receive assignments, to send projects and other fulfilled assignments, to communicate with instructor and other students.

ESL 061, RDG 061, RDG 062, ENG 088, MAT 010, MAT 011
