Course Description: This course focuses on the executive budget as the central decision-making process in government. It reviews the political and economic policy embodied in government's revenue, expenditure and borrowing decisions and examines the public finance principles that apply to revenue raising, borrowing authority, capital and operating budgets and the fiscal responsibilities of city, state and federal governments. |
