Course Description: Explore the micro economy as seen through the eyes of the individual consumer and firm. Exploration of profits, employment, resources via supply and demand, elasticity, utility, costs, and market structures. Applications to unions, rent control, discrimination by race and gender, minimum wage and education. |
Special Requirements: access to PC, working knowledge of internet, email, windows environment, ability to work on your own and meet deadline |
Online Component: The course is completely online. All exams, quizzes, assignmments and class discusssions are conducted online. Students need to actively and regularly participate in all online components of the course. There is one face-to-face training session at start of the semester and then 100% of course is conducted online. |
