Course Description:
English 200 is designed to focus on major English writers of prose, poetry, and drama from the Late Middle Ages to the end of the English Renaissance. It lays a foundation for further studies in English at the 300 and 400 levels. During this course, students will continue to acquire the mastery of the Modern Language Association (MLA) system of parenthetical citation and will continue to work at incorporating quotations and paraphrases into their analyses of literary texts. Students will also complete a research paper using refereed literary sources.
Special Requirements:
Familiarity with Blackboard is essential. Access to computer and reliable connection to the internet.

Course is 100% online through the Blackboard Environment.
Pre-requisites:
Hostos ENG 110 and ENG 111 or the equivalents.
