Course Description:
HIS 11 is an introductory survey course in American
History, covering the period through the Civil War. Topics include
European roots of colonialization, American settlement, the American
Revolution and New Republic, national growth and development, and
sectional conflict. |
Special Requirements:
Basic experience with MS Windows and the internet. |
Online Component:
Students perform online assignments that include work
with primary source images and documents and some basic internet
navigation. The online work allows students an alternative to
purchasing some textbooks and performing some in-class requirements. |
