Course Description: This is an intensive course in the development of information systems on the Internet. Students are encouraged to develop prototypes or projects for commercial, artistic, journalistic, personal or documentary purpose. Students will be expected to design and implement multiple projects of their own and to demo their works-in-progress frequently. The goal of the course is to give students the experience of producing professional websites during the course of the semester so they can practice planning, design, teamwork and general resourcefulness. The completed projects will also be an excellent addition to the students' portfolios.

Special Requirements: Internet access. Solid knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver, FTP and advanced publishing techniques for the Web.
